APEC – Graduate Programs

The Department of Applied Economics and Statistics has two graduate master’s programs one in Agricultural Economics (AREC) and one in Statistics. In addition there is a Ph.D. program in Agricultural Economics (in cooperation with the Department of Economics) as well as a certificate program in Statistics.

Students in the Agricultural Economics program typically work on a research project under the supervision of their advisor and write a thesis.  In the Statistics program, a typical path includes an internship with a local firm.
