Oyster Research

Since 2014, the Center for Experimental & Applied Economics has been collaborating on a number of projects examining consumer preferences for oysters in an effort to support the proposed Delaware oyster aquaculture initiative.

Funding and support has been provided by: Delaware Sea Grant, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, Delaware Economic Development Office, Ed Kee and the Delaware Department of Agriculture, Delaware NSF EPSCoR, the Delaware Environmental Institute (DENIN),  the Center for Behavioral & Experimental Agri-Environmental Research (CBEAR), and the Cape May Lewes Ferry.
