Focus on Agriculture

If you are interested in more than one area of agriculture, you may want to consider a major in…

Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Major
For students who have wide-reaching interests in agriculture and natural resources–or who can’t settle on just one of our majors–ANR provides an easy way to combine interests and create an individual curriculum. By choosing courses in Animal and Food Sciences; Entomology and Wildlife Ecology; Applied Economics and Statistics; and Plant and Soil Sciences, students complete at least 30 credit hours in agriculture and natural resources. Additionally, they select various courses in creative arts and humanities, history and cultural change, social and behavioral sciences, computing, mathematics, communications, and physical and life sciences. There is a lot of freedom in the ANR major, and with an advisor to assist, students design programs to fit their individual interests and career goals.
