An account of New World species with links to tribe and genus pages

The higher taxonomy presented here follows that of Asche (1985a, 1990) as modified by Urban et al. (2010). Emeljanov (1996) and Hamilton (2006) differ in presenting only two or three subfamilies with the remainder reduced to tribes, but their arrangement is otherwise similar.
A simple listing of delphacid classification, including the placement of delphacid genera in higher categories. I’ve included links to the genus-pages on this site.
I am currently updating this site to adopt changes in the recent checklist by Bartlett et al. (2014). Some of the basic taxonomic updates are now done, but I have not added references or attended to other details yet.
A list of genera (as of June 1 2013) by subfamily and tribe is here: (rtf file, with author and year for genera, or rtf file, listed without author and year). These need to be updated; the genera in higher categories page should be up to date.
