What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I love how UD CANR is so avid about getting students involved in a hands-on fashion both inside and outside of the classroom. The farm here at UD has so many opportunities to get up close and personal with the animals, allowing us to take the material we learn and apply it to real life situations.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable experience would have to be getting the opportunity to raise my own calf in the first semester of freshman year. Mooshu acted more like a dog than a cow, and I loved the time I spent watching him grow and mature. I will also never forget how difficult it was to halter train this hyper little calf!

What are your career goals?

After graduating from UD I plan to attend graduate school to get my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Currently, I want to open my own practice in the future, while also being available to zoos or wildlife rescues to administer medicine to the more exotic species. Overall, I hope to be involved in veterinary medicine with both domesticated and wildlife species.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I was born overseas in Edinburgh, Scotland

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

She’s the Man (movie).
