What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

The CANR is truly a nurturing and inviting space that has a close knit atmosphere. Faculty and staff are always willing to help and more often than not they have an open door policy. Each program is really designed to expose you to potential areas of work in your field of study.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable experience would be the Intro to Animal Science Lab. First semester freshman year we were hands on and dealing with animals right off the bat. My partner and I had the best time with the sheep. Not only did we work together to tackle and catch a sheep, but we proceeded to give what we called a "manicure and pedicure." Overall, we had a great time while learning important and detail oriented information from the farm manager himself.

What are your career goals?

I would like to proceed onto vet school after the conclusion of my undergraduate time. After vet school I would like to pursue a specialty in either soft tissue surgery or emergency and critical care.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I have been a regional and national competitive dancer since the age of 10. Today, I still dance with a small modern contemporary dance company based out of Philadelphia.

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

I have many favorite books, but at this time #1 is Wild by Cheryl Strayed.
