What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I like that the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is a place for all the UD students with similar majors and interests in animals and foods to come together and get to know one another. Often there are so many people in the same major that, as a student you only meet others who are in the same classes as you. UD CANR is a great way for all of us to get together and work together for common goals

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable experience of CANR took place before I was officially a Blue Hen, during UD Accepted Students Day. On that day we got a tour of the farm, and were able to see all the animals that we would get to work with if we chose to come to UD. I can still remember the feeling I got that day when I saw the farm and knew that I had to come to UD.

What are your career goals?

I plan to become a licensed Veterinarian, and hopefully work with exotic animals. My life goal is to eventually be able to travel around the world and work with animals of all kinds.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I was the first girl in my high school to receive the “Golden Hammer Award” which is an award for excellence in woodworking. I was also the first person in my high school to receive that award after three years instead of the standard four.
