What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is a place that just feels like home on campus. Being that CANR is a smaller college, you get to really know a lot of the people in the same field, yet its big enough that you can meet a diverse group of people. Every time I walk into the Townsend Commons I always see someone that I would feel comfortable to sit down and talk to or study with. The environment on south campus is welcoming; it’s a slower pace, where everyone is always friendly and has a passion for what they're learning.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable CANR experience was actually recently. I am currently in the Dairy Production Capstone Course and we got the chance to actually go inside of a cows rumen and feel it contract. This experience was so unique, not many people can say that they have felt a cows rumen contract!

What are your career goals?

After graduating at the University of Delaware I aspire to work on the business side of agriculture and hopefully operate a poultry farm of my own.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I have climbed a Mayan Pyramid in Mexico
