What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I love the "homey feeling" the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources provides to all its students and faculty. Each major and minor is laid out in such a way that makes taking classes here so interesting and you can't wait to see what the next semester offers. There are plenty of extracurricular organizations and volunteer opportunities the College offers and there always seems to be something for everyone.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

I have so many memorable experiences just after my first year of college, it's hard to pick just one! I was invited to Dr. Griffith's house in Maryland for a holiday party, where she made everyone feel festive, cozy, and welcome! I was able to take care of my own calf as part of one of my classes, and my favorite moment of the week was when we were given little baby cow kisses. And I love Ag Day where CANR is celebrated all day!

What are your career goals?

I hope to attend veterinary school after college and work with a wide variety of animals, giving them the voice they don't have themselves. In addition, given the opportunity, I would love to travel the world and explore the animals that span across all different countries!

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I have a really big family, and my brother and I have two dogs at home named Leo (a toy poodle) and Chloe (an Australian shepherd/ golden retriever).

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Favorite book: The "Dear Evan Hansen" play script
Favorite movie: La La Land or The Wizard of Oz
Favorite song: any Billy Joel or country song
