What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I like the amount of hands-on experiences and opportunities offered to CANR students. Before college I had barely spent any time with cows, beef and dairy, and now I see them at least once a week!

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable CANR experience was in ANFS111 Lab when I was given an introduction to Artificial Insemination. I got to get arm deep into a cow and palpate it's reproductive tract! Later, through animal science club, this experience inspired me to get certified in AI.

What are your career goals?

To become an animal physical therapist, certified in chiropractic medicine and massage therapy, or attend grad school for animal behavior and become a professor.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I cosplay (dress up as characters from video games/comics/tv shows at anime/comic conventions) and sew/make my entire costume myself.

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Book: Animal Farm
Movie: Aristocats or Lion King 2
Song: Tightrope by Janelle Monae
