What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I enjoy the hands-on experiences that are widely available throughout the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Whether it’s through class, a school organization, or on your own, you can always find opportunities to get your hands dirty, like on the farm or in the garden.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable experience thus far was taking ANFS111: Animal and Food Science Lab. Diving right into such extensive hands-on animal experience during my first semester at college really solidified my decision to work with animals, no matter how messy things may have gotten.

What are your career goals?

As of right now, I aim be a certified veterinarian and work to rehabilitate dolphins, seals, sea lions, sea turtles, and other marine and coastal creatures.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I work at a Marine Science Camp over the summer, where I teach children to kayak, fish, crab, seine, and about local marine and terrestrial species!

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Favorite book: can’t decide!!
Top 5 movies: The Lion King, Forrest Gump, Remember the Titans, Fifty First Dates, and The Jungle Book (the original cartoon movie)
Favorite song: “Drops of Jupiter” by Train
