What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I love the fact that our College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is a part of our main campus. I know that makes us very unique in the college world and is something that I really admire because if it had not been, I don’t know whether or not I would have chosen the major that I am in because of the distance. I also love how nice everyone in the college is, I see professors that I have passing me in the hallways or in the lounge and they will stop and talk to me about how my semester is going. I really like the community atmosphere that CANR has

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

My most memorable CANR experience was coming to visit the college while I was still a senior in high school. I was really indecisive about which college to go to so I went on a tour and I absolutely fell in love with the CANR campus! Our tour guide was amazing and made me feel so accepted and a part of the college already. Had I never gone on the tour, I probably would not have gone to UD. So that was definitely one of my most memorable CANR experiences.

What are your career goals?

I want to work for either a big company or a consulting firm to help companies adjust their supply levels/emission levels in order to taper off the unnecessary use of our natural resources and conserve the resources that we have left and try to reduce the amount of pollution and CO2 emitted into our environment.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

At 5 foot 10 inches, I am the shortest in my family.
I have flown a plane, rode on a elephant and rode in a NASCAR stock-car
I work in the summer at an Art Studio where I am a canvas/potter wheel instructor for adults as well as the summer camp counselor for kids.
