I’ve always known the word “kiwi” as being either a delicious, fuzzy fruit or an endangered, flightless bird. Little did I know that there was an important definition I was missing: a person from New Zealand. I conversed with many kiwis within hours of arriving and quickly realized how friendly and charming they are. One of many examples is a 25 year old, fifth year student at Lincoln University. While browsing the book store on campus, Hamish and I sparked conversation on New Zealand currency. After a long conversation I learned a lot more.
