Multi-stemmed, dense deciduous to semi-evergreen shrub with arching branches. Fast growing once established. Easy to grow.

Acid, well-drained moist soil. Full sun to part shade.

Good as a hedge or as a foundation planting. Bronze leaf color in fall/winter.

Opposite, shiny and dark green. Small 1 inch long and half inch wide

Buds are small with two pairs of scales.

Reddish on newer wood. Older wood peels in strings.

White with a pink blush
