APEC – Graduate Programs
The Department of Applied Economics and Statistics has three graduate master’s programs one in Agricultural Economics (AREC) and one in Statistics; and one in Applied Statistics that is offered on-line. In addition there is a Ph.D. program in Agricultural Economics (in cooperation with the Department of Economics) as well as a certificate program in Statistics.
Students in the Agricultural Economics program typically work on a research project under the supervision of their advisor and write a thesis. In the Statistics program, a typical path includes an internship with a local firm. The online Applied Statistics program features an applied research project.
