What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

The sense of community, how it truly does feel like a home away from home. South Campus is a special place for our college, like our own secret base or clubhouse. Where not only we go to learn for our major, but also just go to have fun, and hangout. Special memories are made in the CANR that only CANR students can have making for a completely unique college experience.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

Definitely the Animal Science 111 Lab. Getting to interact hands-on with so many different animals, and learn so much about them was fantastic. Not only about how they live and exist on the farm, but their anatomy, the tools involved with caring for them, and also just random facts too. My very first time interacting with a horse in my life was in that lab, and it was great!

What are your career goals?

After I finish my undergraduate studies I hope to get into Veterinary school and get my DVM. Then practice for an organized veterinary company as a doctor of domestic house pets like cats and dogs. Long term I would hope to open my own veterinary practice and work to be my own boss as I help families with their four-legged family members.

I also have a huge interest in writing so I have plans to minor in either writing or journalism and be able to continue to write far into future.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

I’m a citizen of Canada! I was born in Montréal, Quebec, only one of the most amazing cities in the world. So naturally my favorite season is winter, but don’t think I like everything cold because I really don’t care for ice cream.

In my free time not spent studying I tend to a huge passion for all things video game related. I play, collect, read, and watch, various forms of game media. Talk to me about video games, it would make my day.

I’m also not too shabby at playing the guitar, and pretty funny too. (If I do say so myself)

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Book: Slapstick (or As You Like It) by Kurt Vonnegut
Movie: Happy Feet/ Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Song: Turn It Off- Paramore
Video Game Series: Kingdom Hearts/Pokémon
