What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I love that CANR has a wealth of resources available to students while maintaining a personal environment. CANR staff and faculty are incredible professors, renowned scientists, and always very personable and supportive of students. I feel like CANR is a place I can challenge myself to succeed while feeling at perfectly home.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

During spring break of my first year, I participated in the Artificial Insemination Certification Course through the Animal Science Club. I learned a lot about the livestock industry, gained some excellent hands on experience, and getting up close and personal with those cows is something I will never forget!

What are your career goals?

After graduate school, I want to become involved in the field of environmental education. Whether this is through an NGO, an educational institution, a state park or elsewhere, I know that I want to use my passion to connect people with nature.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

My senior year of high school I collected fly larvae off of roadkill for my forensics teacher to use in class during the forensic entomology unit. I like working with all animals, dead or alive!
