What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

I like that CANR is diverse and I’m always meeting new people, but it also has a close “small college” feel within UD, with familiar faces everywhere. The “small college” feel allows for strong relationships between students and faculty, which really helps in making you feel supported academically within CANR. Our farm is one of my favorite parts about the college too!

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

The ANFS111 lab is my favorite class I’ve taken so far at UD! I loved every week, and it was the first time I was able to work hands on with beef cattle, dairy cows, chickens and sheep.

What are your career goals?

I’ll be working in the fields of food safety and aquaculture, and traveling a lot for work! Ideally something that incorporates the US and Germany, as I plan to be fluent in German by the time I graduate from UD.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

My family has boxed seats at the UD football stadium and I’ve only ever missed two UD home games in my entire life! Also I’ve studied abroad in Germany twice!

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Book: The Great Gatsby
Movie: There are way too many movies I love to name just one!
Song: I love all music (except heavy metal)!
