What do you like about the UD College of Agriculture and Natural Resources?

What I like about the CANR is all the opportunities that are available with easy access. Starting the first week of classes I was able to get hands on education with animals I had never been exposed to in everyday life. Getting hands on experience has been amazing and has helped me realize what I want to do in the future.

What is your most memorable AG or UD experience?

The most memorable CANR experience I have had was being able to participate in the Animal Science lab my first semester at Delaware. This lab taught me so many new things as we began learning with small animals and ended with understanding artificial insemination. This class was most definitely the highlight of my week.

What are your career goals?

My career goals are to graduate with a Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences major and a possible double minor in Chemistry and Wildlife Conservation. After graduating I hope to attend a Veterinary Medicine graduate school and eventually open up my own clinic.

What is an interesting or unusual fact about you?

An interesting fact about me is that I have never been on a farm or in contact with farm animals until my freshman year of college.

What is your favorite book, movie or song?

Although I have too many movies that I consider my favorite, I do have a favorite TV show series. My favorite TV show would have to be Dr. Pol who is a veterinarian that specializes in taking care of all sorts of animals.
