A tough Eastern North American native groundcover, Pussytoes forms a low mat of soft, velvety foliage topped with charming white to pale pink flowers resembling tiny cat’s paws. Spreading by stolons, it is especially well suited to dry, sunny locations such as rock gardens and naturalized areas. Its flowers provide a spring nectar source, while the plant also serves as a larval host for the American Painted Lady butterfly.
