A weeping sedge that grows in mounded tufts, this species is native to the Eastern US. Soft, fine texture is this plant’s featured characteristic. Long one foot plus blades are as thin as hair and flow like water in the wind. In late spring a few wispy flower spikes will emerge attracting bees and birds alike.
