This native sedge adds bold texture to woodland gardens with its bright green, wrinkled foliage. Growing 6–12” tall in part to full shade, it thrives in moist soils but will also tolerate that tough dry spot in your garden. This clump-forming perennial spreads quickly, producing subtle purple-brown flowers in May and offering semi-evergreen interest.
