Euthamia graminifolia
$10.00
Common Name: Grass-leaved Goldenrod
Pot Size: 1 g
A slender yet bushy perennial known for its narrow leaves and clusters of tiny, bright-yellow flowers. While easy to grow, it can become aggressive in moist, sunny conditions so make sure to give this plant some space to thrive. This native pollinator magnet attracts butterflies, bees, and beetles, with Goldenrod Soldier Beetles and Black Blister Beetles being frequent visitors. Its seeds also provide food for Swamp Sparrows and Eastern Goldfinches. A rhizomatous species, it thrives in wet soils but adapts to drier conditions and partial shade. Since it is not a true goldenrod, it has been reclassified in the Euthamia genus.
