Upright broad habit with numerous elongated, conical clusters of 4-12″ long, mostly sterile, white flowers which slowly turn pinkish in fall. Flowers maintain the upright habit. Deeply lobed, oak-shaped leaves turn bronze, burgundy or purple in fall. PHS Gold Medal Award winner selected at Princeton Nurseries in NJ. Though this plant’s native range falls just outside the Mid-Atlantic, it is still an excellent performer in our temperate gardens providing several seasons of interest.
