Doubled blooms with pointed petals result in a beautiful, lacy panicle and attractive display on an oakleaf with all the best qualities: burgundy fall foliage, flowers tinged pink as they mature, tidy mounded habit. Though this species’ native range falls just outside the Mid-Atlantic, it is still an excellent performer in our temperate gardens providing several seasons of interest.
