Hydrangea serrata ‘Blue Bird’

This compact plant is easy to grow, requiring little to no maintenance. Its lacecap blue flowers, up to 8″ across, bloom an exceptionally long time, starting in early summer. Large, showy, sterile sepals radiate around central cluster of fertile rich blue florets. Foliage turns a brilliant red in the autumn.
