‘Pinkerton’ is a stunning Japanese Iris with soft pink, 7″ wide blooms with dark veining and ruffled edges. Its six broad falls feature dark veining, rippled edges, and elegant pink crests. Blooming later than Siberian Irises, it extends the iris season by about a month. Unlike Tall Bearded Irises, Japanese Irises have flat, beardless blooms, slender leaves, and compact rhizomes. With the largest flowers of all irises, they create striking spring displays, especially when planted near water gardens.
