Native from Canada to Mexico, this colorful variety of our native knotweed will brighten any shady corner in your garden. Pairs beautifully with may other shade perennials such as Acorus, Hakonechloa, and Hosta. The center of each leaf is marked with a dark chocolate colored chevron with splashes of cream, silver, and pink across the remaining leaf blade. Will self seed and prefers moist soil, but will tolerate drought once established. Foliage is a beautiful addition to cut flower arrangements.
