Common Name: Pink-Shell Azalea

Pot Size: 1 g

Among the first and most beautiful spring-flowering deciduous azaleas to bloom, this shrub produces masses of light pink, bell-shaped flowers on leafless stems. It reaches 8–12 feet tall and grows best in filtered shade to full sun, though it performs better in shadier conditions, especially in drier areas. Though now rare in the wild, this shrub is native to the southern United States.
