Landscape Use

Hypericum 'Hidcote' is a low growing, spreading shrub or groundcover with large (1 to 2 inch diameter) showy yellow flowers. The flowers are mildly fragrant and are set off well against the pinnate blue green foliage. Garden uses include a groundcover, low hedge, or shrub border. Will dieback to the ground in the winter and regrow shoots in the spring in colder climates.
