UDBG’s 2021 Spring Plant Sale Re-imagined

UDBG celebrates its 29th Benefit Spring Plant Sale with Deutzia as our featured shrub group and hardy ferns as our herbaceous plant. UDBG members and Plant Sale Patrons exclusively receive the full color Spring Plant Sale catalog as one of their member benefits. Patrons and Members receive 10% off entire plant purchase during purchase periods below.

Current State, University and City of Newark guidelines prevent us from holding the UDBG Spring Plant Sale in-person as we’d wished. The plant sale is completely being held online with greatly enhanced and expanded features new to this year.

The online store carries all plants offered, including heirloom tomatoes and peppers. Here’s a comprehensive list of plants that we will offer in the online store as of April 28, 2021.

PLEASE NOTE:  Shopping dates for online purchases are listed below. Access to the online store is phased; please see dates below. Shoppers in each group will receive an email link providing access to the online store on their respective date and time. Designated pickup dates for each group are listed below. A $50.00 minimum order is required due to minimal staff resources; payment is by credit card only at time of purchase. Plants must be picked up; WE DO NOT ship plants.
