Emily Mox is excited to further her passion for connecting people to plants through her role as UDBG’s new Program Manager. Originally from Newark, DE she has spent the last couple decades gardening around the Philly area including working at Redbud Native Plant Nursery, Tyler Arboretum, and The Gardens at Mill Fleurs. Upon graduating from Longwood Garden’s Professional Horticulture Program, Emily completed her B.S. in Horticulture at Temple University and is also a NOFA Accredited Organic Land Care Professional. After running a design and build garden business for a number of years, she transitioned back into public horticulture working for the Scott Arboretum at Swarthmore College as Assistant Garden Supervisor & Landscape Sustainability Coordinator.
